Which is part of the reason I haven't blogged in so long! Too many things to do!
I've launched a new website that still has a few kinks but for the most part it's working great!
The biggest benefit to this new site is the shopping cart/favorites retains your selections!! Yay!!
One issue that has come up is "old" proofing galleries did come down -- if you would like yours to be up again just let me know. Please take a look at the new site

This little one came in a few weeks ago- it was a lovely afternoon with Mom, and then Dad and big brother joined us. This family has been coming in for a couple of years; it's just such a thrill and an honor to watch my families grow and grow up. Thank You Chad & Melissa-- Congratulations

The newest issue of the Outdoor Design and Living Guide is out today (find it at Hornbachers) and in it is my husband, Adam and my first joint photo credit! Last month we meet artist Paul Boyum at his workshop near Battle Lake, MN. Paul is the artist who creates the metal flowers "Pipe Dreams" seen all around the region, wine racks, and thread holders. http://www.paulsmetalpetals.com/ Paul is really passionate about his creations and metal working, it was really energizing being around him--really an awesome afternoon. If your not familiar with it Outdoor Design and Living Guideit's a locally produced magazine entering it's second year in publication, about creating, designing and living better. This issue has articles about wine making in northern Minnesota, how to buy a hot tub, preventing roof damage from our cold winters and Paul Boyum just to name few.
Watching a couple go from starting out, to waiting for the baby, to she's here and then settling into this new creation is beautiful - that's a very inarticulate understatement. I'm honored to photograph this story.
I've been lucky enough to work with Area Woman magazine( www.areawoman.com ) a number of times and every time I do I meet the most amazing, fun, kind, beautiful and intelligent women. Amy Hinkemeyer, Development Manager of the MS Society, was no exception, I had so much fun working with her AND her husband & the HS boys basketball team from Gwinner that he coaches, her coworkers and MS volunteers! I look forward to seeing her again at The Little Black Dress fund raiser on Friday the 19th of February. Join Us!

Little Man G and Miss G came in with their Mom and Grandma for their 4 year and 2 year shots last week - This is about the fourth time I think I've worked with this family and they are so much fun! Dad and Big Brother C missed out - so I thought I would quick post Mr. G on his skateboard (Yes, that's right-- HIS skateboard and he knows what he's doing!)- and Miss G's beautiful laugh. Also one the 3 of kids together last fall - this is one of my all time favorites.
The Lightroom was awesome for G to show off his stuff on the skateboard and Miss G had fun playing Peek around the pilar- I'll have to post the whole seris of her later on too!
